Mather Jackson Library Project - December 2009

The Mather Jackson Library, The Sessions House, Usk.
This project involved the conservation of the collection of old law books.

Our group of 20 Heritage Volunteers undertook the cleaning and minor refurbishments of the 3000 law books contained in this library. We all enjoyed this work and the camaraderie. The whole group had initial training from the NADFAS conservator, Mrs Carolyne Bendix, and worked in four sub-groups, one working each Friday morning
